I am unable to cut with my GX24 Roland cutter. When I go to cut I get a USB error. Any fix?

In order to use GX24 trough USB, you need to install the driver comes with the cutter. Then from Plotter Code select USB Port and click SELECT USB PLOTTER ( your GX driver must be on the list) |

Kevin,
I'm using the same cutter, and have no problems with it.
Do you have the Roland apperaing in your list of printers??
I installed the Roland windows driver first, then winpcsign, and then in "Setup Plotter", selected Roland GX-24, selected "Windows Port" in the "Port" dropdown list, followed by the Roland GX-24 in the selection box that followed.
(I also changed the cutter orientation so that the cutting head finished cutting near the control panel on the cutter, but thats a personal preference)
Cheers
