I have an odd problem here.

When I cut a sign, let's say large letters for a banner. If I were to cut a word such as "BARRELS" you would think it would cut the B, then the A, then the R and so on. Instead it may cut the B then the L then the A and so on.

What it does, is cut out of order, and the rollers feed back and forth as it cuts, and after awhile no matter how good you have it aligned in the cutter the words are off centered with each other.

If I want to cut a border around it, it will cut it first then go back and forth cutter the words, and I don't get a straight cut.

Is there are way to set the order of cutting?

It does this with designs to. If I make a set of stickers with say 10 of each design, instead of starting at 0,0 (1,1 whatever, the start of the page) it will hop all over cutting designs out, instead of cutting the 1st row of stickers right to left or visa versa, it jumps all over cutting out stickers randomly.

Any Ideas?

I have recently purchased my cutter and software a few months ago and have had NO issues with exception of this. If I can get this ironed out, I would be very happy.

Thank you,

Jay H.

The machine cut follow the same way that you drew. You can select the function Make orientating path from the Tool menu or Sort objects from Options in Cutting Control Panel.

Border; select Weeding from Cutting Control panel

I did check the "Sort Objects" in the cutting panel and it works fine now.

[A big round of applause to IVAN for figuring that out for me]

I have the exact same problem, but the sort objects box is selected and I have selected MAKE ORIENTATING PATH too. No change. Is there anything else?
